I know we were all eager for 2020 to close. Covitigue has really been setting in, and we are ready for things to change, but we all must continue to do our small part for the greater good. We need to exercise patience, prop one another up, and encourage each other to do what’s right. In a New Year, we arrive with resolutions and a huge sense of anticipation and optimism for the coming year. However, the first few weeks of January can be a bit of a letdown after the holiday celebrations, even in their modified way. The ‘January Blues’ are nothing new, they’ve been around forever. You are not alone if you are feeling this way. But this moment too shall pass. The key to navigating and weathering the beginning of the year uncertainty is to get busy and start DOING. One of the best things you can do for yourself to set up for success is to remove the pressure on yourself to act immediately and expect quick results. It will come…it always does. Adjust your goals and give yourself some room to breathe. Adjust your expectations and add a little patience, it can go a long way. I am committing to believing that 2021 will be an incredible year. Every sign points towards that. I can’t wait for what lies ahead, but at the same time, I am going to give it time to reveal itself, and just enjoy every minute of every day! |
